Cart-type vehicles were used on multiple planets, such as Cerea, where they were pulled by Cerean pack animals.

On Tatooine, carts were used by moisture farmers and sometimes drawn by dewbacks. A smaller, two-wheeled variation of a cart pushed by pit droids was seen in Mos Espa in 32 BBY.

The Ewok natives of Endor used carts and harnessed them to pack animals to provide them with a propelling force. The Quorks from Endor also used carts - to pull loads of hay.

Carts were also by the farm villagers of the planet Jomark.
