Casieck Akinslesh was a respected member of the Jedi Order in the waning years of the Galactic Republic. Akinslesh's death in 53 BBY was mourned by Grand Master Yoda and the Jedi High Council, as well as Orykan Tamarik, the Twi'lek Padawan Akinslesh had been training. The loss of her master left Tamarik concerned and fearful. In the wake of Akinslesh's death, Tamarik was temporarily assigned to Jedi Master Tahl.[1]
Behind the scenes
Casieck Akinslesh was created by writer Scott Allie for Star Wars: Jedi—The Dark Side comic, published in 2011 by Dark Horse. The character was first mentioned in one panel of the comic's first issue, in which neither Akinslesh's species nor gender were specified.
