Casus Sandral was a Human male living on Dantooine during the time of the Jedi Civil War. He was a member of the Sandral family, being the son of Nurik and the brother of Rahasia. He met Shen Matale after his sister fell in love with him, and they became friends.
He was an archaeologist interested in the Rakatan ruins of Dantooine, in his datapad, it gives reference to the species that built the ruins, 'The Rak'. Casus was killed by kath hounds while roaming the plains, not too far from the Matale estate. Nurik believed that the boy had been killed by his nemesis, Ahlan Matale, until Revan was able to settle the dispute between the families.

Casus shares a similar name with another character mentioned in Knights of the Old Republic, Cassus Fett.
In his dead appearance, Casus' skin color was light instead of dark like his family. It is possible that the kath hounds that attacked him stripped his body of its flesh, but it is more likely that the developers just reused one of the standard corpse models, instead of creating a unique one.
