Celebration is a series of Star Wars fan conventions sponsored by Lucasfilm Ltd.

Celebration IEdit

Celebration I was held prior to the release of The Phantom Menace in 1999. The convention was held in Denver, Colorado.

Celebration IIEdit

Celebration II was held prior to the release of Attack of the Clones in 2002. It ran from May 3 to May 5 2002, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Celebration IIIEdit

Celebration III was held to celebrate the release of Revenge of the Sith. It ran from April 21 to April 24 2005, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Celebration IVEdit

Celebration IV was held to celebrate 30 years of Star Wars. It was held from May 24 to May 28, 2007, in Los Angeles, California.

Celebration EuropeEdit

Celebration Europe was held in London, United Kingdom to celebrate 30 years of Star Wars. It was the first Celebration event to be held outside the United States. It was open from July 13 to July 15 2007.

Celebration JapanEdit

Celebration Japan was held at the Makuhari-Messe Convention Center near Tokyo from July 19 to July 21 2008. It was the first Celebration event to be held in Japan. Its purpose is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of A New Hope, the original Star Wars film which debuted in Japan on June 24, 1978.

Celebration VEdit

Celebration V was held to celebrate 30 years of Empire Strikes Back. It was held from August 12 to August 15, 2010, in Orlando, Florida.^[1]

Celebration VIEdit

Celebration VI is scheduled to be held from August 23 to August 26, 2012, and will be returning to Orlando, Florida.
