Celebration Japan is a fan convention which was held at the Makuhari-Messe Convention Center near Tokyo from July 19 to July 21, 2008. It was the first Celebration event to be held in Japan. Its purpose was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of A New Hope, the original Star Wars film, which debuted in Japan on June 24, 1978.

The convention was managed by Lucasfilm and the Lewis Daniel Group.
