Centax-1 was one of the moons of Coruscant.[1]

Following the Alsakan Conflicts, it served as a Galactic Republic penal world.[2]
Centax-class heavy frigates were outfitted there during the Clone Wars and it was a military staging base that was garrisoned with 20,000 clone troopers.[3]
