Cephalopoids were species which resembled or were related to cephalopods (a group of highly-intelligent invertebrate molluscs, usually oxygen-breathing, often with color-changing abilities, often with large eyes capable of low-light vision, often amphibious, often with an internal or external mantle, usually with tentacles for movement and/or perception and/or feeding), much as humanoids were species which resembled or were related to Humans. Sentient cephalopoids were especially vulnerable to Brainworm Rot Type A due to the dialogen in their blood.
