A long ceremonial staff was occasionally wielded by the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic around the time of the Naboo Crisis. A symbol of the Chancellor's authority, it was capped by the Galactic Great Seal, a fanned spear that was used as the sigil of the Galactic Senate.
