Chalcedon was a planet in Tashtor sector of the Mid Rim.

During the Pre-Republic era, Chalcedon was ruled by the Rakatan Infinite Empire. A rocky and volcanic world with a semi-breathable atmosphere, it was the hub of the galactic slave trade. Chalcedon had no indigenous life-forms, but there was a way station and two colonies, with buildings made out of the local dark volcanic glass.
