The Champion of Empire Day, also known as Chosen of Empire Day was an Imperial badge awarded to individuals who had undergone extensive dutiful service to the Empire. It was given on Empire Day, and was one of the few awards to be presented directly by Darth Vader.
One such badge was awarded by Vader to a spacer during the Empire Day Festivities on Theed, Naboo in recognition for the spacer's service to the Empire.

The Champion of Empire Day appeared in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. The primary method of getting the award is to stand near the Emperor's Statue at Theed. In the 2009 Empire Day festivities, it was called the Champion of Empire Day. In the 2010 Empire Day festivities, its name was changed to Chosen of Empire Day.
