The Chandrila Defense Fleet was an active local naval force in the Galactic Republic.

HistoryEdit

Admiral Hiram Drayson led the Fleet for many years during the last decades of the Republic, until he was replaced by Palpatine's military council with Kohl Seerdon during the Clone Wars. It was requisitioned by the emerging Galactic Empire and merged into the Imperial Navy under his command. After the fall of the Empire, Drayson was reassigned to lead the Fleet again.
