The planet was orbited by the Chardaan Shipyards. The Rebel Alliance used these yards to build some of the RZ-1 A-wing interceptors used in the Battle of Endor.^[3]

Later, the New Republic used the same shipyards to build not only A-wings, but Y-wings, X-wings, B-wings, and E-wings. The shipyards were attacked by Colonel Cronus.^[2]
