Chargrecks were heavily armored, spiked quadrupeds native to the planet of Orsis.

Trezza would take favored students at the Orsis Academy on a hunting expedition to hunt kaabores only to have the student deliberately run into chargrecks with nothing with a wooden spear to defend oneself. Experiencing this firsthand, Kilindi Matako tipped her friend Maul off, who came prepared with electroshock nets, stunning the creatures and avoiding this trick.
