Chariot was a Victory-class Star Destroyer stationed in the Minos Cluster as the command ship of the Imperial Navy's sector fleet during the Galactic Civil War.

It was considered an ancient relic from the Clone Wars and was only armed with 68 working concussion missile launchers and a few dozen double turbolaser batteries. These weapons systems and the vessel's hyperdrive required frequent service due to their age.
