During 0 ABY, Charl Sstena helped sell C-3PO and R2-D2 to Luke Skywalker and his family.
He apparently survived the onslaught by the Imperial Stormtroopers soon after, because he was found by a spacer on Corellia some time during 1 ABY.

Charl Sstena is a Non-Player Character (NPC) in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies. Players who take part in the "Meatlump Themepark" can receive a quest where they must speak to Charl. When the player speaks to him, Charl will ramble on about Uncle Owen and R5-D4.
