Charon language was a strange communication system used by the Charon species.

Being arachnid-like creatures, Charon "spoke" by rubbing their mandibles with one another, causing clicks, squeals and scratches. As far as scientists have analyzed it, this language could only be reproduced by other insectoid species, and probably by specially-programmed protocol droids.

Charon language did have a written form, including intricate web shapes that could easily be confused with decorative patterns, unless one was very familiar with the language.
