"Checkers" was the nickname of a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. He initially served under Jedi General Kit Fisto in Laser Company before the unit was depleted all except for him at Kessel. Although he bore no ill will toward Fisto, Checkers requested to be transferred to Torrent Company when he was rewarded with the opportunity for being the unit's only clone survivor of the encounter. He fought in a battle on Kothlis under Clone Captain Rex and Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano.
