Captain Chedaki was a pilot for the Rebel Alliance.
Biography
He was in command of the blockade runner which carried Princess Leia Organa to the Shiva system to investigate Imperial activity there. Both he and Leia were preparing to launch a shuttle craft to investigate further when the ship collided with a space mine, which caused serious damage to the shuttle. Chedaki was killed in the explosion, and Leia had to launch the shuttle on her own in order to prevent the main ship and her crew from further damage.
Chedaki's blockade runner was a small capital ship, not to be confused with the CR90 corvette often used as a blockade runner by the Alliance
