Chief Foreman was an Ugnaught worker who, along with other Ugnaughts, was forced to work for the Separatists in the mining facility inside one of the asteroids in the Valsedian belt. During the Valsedian operation, he and the other workers were taken prisoners under an energy shield by the pirates guarding the facility. They were rescued by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, and Tyzen Xebec, who fought the pirates, and by Anakin Skywalker, who destroyed the shield generator.
