A Chief Navigator appeared to be a position within the Chiss military, more specifically within the Chiss Expansionary Defense Force.[1] One such individual that held this rank was former Imperial officer, Peita Aabe.
It was also a position within the Imperial Navy. Lieutenant Rosion held this position aboard Lusankya during the Bacta War.[2]
