The Chistori were a bipedal humanoid saurian race. Chistori had large snouts, a mouthful of teeth, and small eyes. Like many reptilian species, they were cold-blooded, and like the Trandoshan, they had a thick durable hide. When encountered they were known to be fierce warriors whose independence have kept them secretly stashed away from the archives of the Jedi.
A notable Chistori was Cydon Prax, right-hand man of Count Dooku during the Dark Reaper Crisis of the Clone Wars. Another Chistori was the Dark Jedi Desann, who was an ally of the Empire Reborn. Many other Chistori in the galaxy found work as bounty hunters, Soldiers and Assassins.
Jedi Master Dass Jennir encountered and fought a Chistori bounty hunter on the planet Cato Neimoidia.

While never explicitly stated, it is heavily implied that the Chistori had no knowledge of the Force, neither as the Jedi knew it or as a local religion. Thus the exceptionally few Force-sensitives born to this species were feared and persecuted by their fellow Chistori.
