Chistori

The Chistori were a bipedal humanoid saurian race. Chistori had large snouts, a mouthful of teeth, and small eyes. Like many reptilian species, they were cold-blooded, and like the Trandoshan, they had a thick durable hide. When encountered they were known to be fierce warriors whose independence have kept them secretly stashed away from the archives of the Jedi.

Other than Cydon Prax, the only widely known Chistori was the Dark Jedi Desann, a failed student of the Yavin 4 academy who would make life extremely difficult for Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn decades after the Clone Wars. Many lesser-known Chistori have found work as bounty hunters.

While never explicitly stated, it is heavily implied that the Chistori had no knowledge of the Force, neither as the Jedi knew it or as a local religion. Thus the exceptionally few Force-sensitives born to this species were feared and persecuted by their fellow Chistori.
