Chitliks were burrowing marsupials on Ord Cestus. They lived in caves and had orange stripes. The females produced a salubrious milk called Kesta.

Cestians would set traps for them, as their mammary glands produced kista. The kista would be milked and then the chitliks would be released.

One notable chitlik was Pocket, the pet of Chief of State Natasi Daala's aide, Wynn Dorvan. Another was Tomax Santiara, the winner of "Most Placid in Show" at Sok Brok's Fiftieth Annual Pet Show.
