Cambylictus berries, or camby berries for short, were a treat eaten by Ewoks and celebrants of the Festival of Love. They grew on Cambylictus trees, native to Endor and Naboo.

DescriptionEdit

Camby berries were picked from Cambylictus trees, which were native to the forests of Endor. They were considered to be naturally tart. Cambylictus trees were also known to grow on the planet Naboo.^[1]^[2]

During the Festival of Love of 1.5 ABY, spacers purchased these berries from Logray in the various celebratory cities, including Theed, Kadaara, Tyrena, and the Southern Ewok Lake Village. These spacers would often dip these berries in chocolate fountains to give them a delicious flavor.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

In the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies, Cambylictus berries were introduced to the game during the Ewok Festival of Love of 2008. In the game, Camby berries could be purchased for 2,500 credits. However, it should be noted that this price was probably a mere game mechanic, and may not reflect the true cost of the berries. In the game, Camby berries could be dipped in chocolate fountains located at the celebratory cities. Doing so converted the camby berries into chocolate covered Camby berries.

Camby berries were once again sold during subsequent Festival of Love celebrations in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Camby berries may have been inspired by strawberries, which are commonly dipped in chocolate.
