The Chokehold was an Immobilizer 418 cruiser that was used by the Galactic Empire during the time of the Galactic Civil War.

HistoryEdit

During the Galactic Civil War, the Chokehold was stationed near to the planet Mon Calamari, to try and capture Rebel Alliance starships that were assisting members of the Mon Calamari species in fleeing from the Imperial occupation of their homeworld.

When a group of freelance agents attempted to travel to the moon Phinel's Folly, their ship was caught in the Chokehold's gravity well and brought out of hyperspace. The agents were then ordered by the crew of the Chokehold to cut their engines, while the cruiser's tractor beam pulled their craft into its hangar.
