The Chosen One was a Lannik cult leader operating on the planet Lannik during the decade prior to the Battle of Naboo.
The fanatical Chosen One was responsible for an increase in terrorism on his homeworld, which was carried out by his loyal followers. The Chosen One hired bounty hunter Aldar Beedo to eliminate Jedi Master Even Piell, also a native of Lannik.
