Chume Ta' was a Hapan designator that formed part of Tenel Ka's full name of "Tenel Ka Chume Ta' Djo". Rather than a personal name, however, it may have been a Hapan title given to the firstborn daughter of the current Queen Mother.

Behind the scenesEdit

In online fandom, it is often stated that Chume Ta' is a title for the eldest daughter of the Hapan Queen, as for instance in the Unofficial Encyclopedia.[1] While plausible, however, it is not clear if there is actually any direct canon evidence for this claim. Recently, the novel Tempest established that the term "Chume'da" is used for both male and female heirs, making the canon status of the Chume Ta' title even more ambiguous.
