The Chundu system was a star system located within the Outer Rim Territories' Cegul sector.[1] It was the namesake of the realspace location known as the Chundu Shunt.[2][3]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Chundu system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square L-20.[4]

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Chundu Shunt in relation to the Chundu system.
