Cianba was a journalist during the start of the Yuuzhan Vong War. She was considered a rogue journalist for questioning the New Republic's lack of action against the Yuuzhan Vong. Many refugees, like those on the Dibrook Space Station, listened to her HoloNet speeches for news about their homes and missing people.
