A Pistoeka sabotage droid's circular saw.
A circular saw was a cutting tool that consisted of a circular piece of metal with sharp blades protruding from its circumference. It was part of the mechanical arsenal of the Pistoeka sabotage droid. The circular saw allowed buzz droids to cut through the hulls of starships while in combat.[1] Circular saws could also be equipped onto R-series astromech droids; R2-D2 used his circular saw to escape an Ewok net shortly before the Battle of Endor.[2]
