The city on the hills was a city on the planet Teardrop. Around 0.5 ABY the Rebel Alliance had a base there, but it was evacuated only moments before Imperial-class Star Destroyer Reprisal arrived to punish the Rebels. The entire population of the city was killed by the Imperial stormtroopers.
