Clans of the Ancients

The Clans of the Ancients was the name given to a number of Hutt clans that could trace their ancestry back to their species' homeworld of Varl. The Desilijic, Besadii, Qunaalac, Bareesh, Gorensla, Kajidier, Jiramma, Vanderijar, and Vosadii clans were among the Clans of the Ancients, and only members of the Clans of the Ancients could hold a position on the Hutt Ruling Council.
