The Claw was a modified Kazellis-class light freighter owned by the bounty hunter Cragus 12. It was fast and deadly, armed with a quad laser cannon and shield generators. Much of its storage space had been converted into holding cells for persons that Cragus 12 was commissioned to bring in alive. The ship was guarded by Cragus 12's security droid GX-99, which was programmed to eliminate any unauthorized individual aboard the ship.
