Claw was an Interdictor cruiser in service with the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War. The Claw had attempted to prevent Rebels who had secured the Death Star II plans from the armed freighter Suprosa from reaching Kothlis.

While hampering the Rebels' hyperdrive systems, it launched its own starfighter complement to deal with the task force. However, despite assistance from the Victory I-class Star Destroyer Hunter, the Rebels managed to drive the ship away so that they could escape to their intended destination.
