The Clone Wars novels is a series of five books that adapt the story of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars (film) and expand on story of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (TV series). The first book loosely covers the film, while the others will be mostly new stories set in the same era.[1] Originally, Karen Miller and Karen Traviss were going to alternate stories, with the latter writing three of the novels. However, Miller was later contracted to write the last novel instead of Traviss, who had a very busy writing schedule. The Clone Wars: No Prisoners was Traviss's penultimate Star Wars novel.
