Clone trooper pilots,[4] also known as clone pilots,[5] were clone troopers bred to pilot various vehicles and starfighters in the Grand Army of the Republic, such as the V-19 Torrent starfighter,[6] the Clone Z-95 starfighter,[7] and the ARC-170 starfighter.[2]
Clone trooper pilots were also able to possess military ranks. One clone trooper pilot held the rank of Clone Lieutenant during the Battle of Teth,[6] "Jag" held the rank of Clone Captain,[8] and CC-2237, also known as "Odd Ball," held the rank of Clone Commander.[9]
