ComNet Corporation was a powerful company located on Ord Mynock in the Ord Mynock Freeport. It took control of a Galactic Republic communication outpost and relay station and held a virtual monoply on communications in that sector.

Their dome was one of the largest buildings in the Ord Mynock Freeport. It was large and studded with transmission dishes, laser-link relays, and other antennae. Since it was such an important and expensive structure, it was heavily guarded by ComNet security forces.
