Combat Multi-view Display was the main sensor readout on a starfighter. Although functions appeared to vary depending on the model of CMD used, they generally displayed sensor readouts on targeted ships, including deflector shield strength and hull integrity. Some models showed a targeting reticule, though targeting was generally done using other systems such as the heads-up display or targeting computer.
