Command cloaks were a variety of living cape that was worn by high-ranking members of the Warrior caste of the Yuuzhan Vong. Command cloaks were connected to the recipient's body via claws that would grip onto their shoulder blades through cuts made into the flesh of a Warrior after their escalation.

Such cloaks were only worn by those Yuuzhan Vong who had attained the rank of Commander or higher.
