The term Commissar is a rank equivalent to Minister.

HistoryEdit

A planet known to have Commissars was Grizmallt. In 22 BBY, having been impressed by the design of the Acclamator-class assault ship, Grizmallt's Commissars ordered industrial spies and ship designers to reduce Kuat's lead for new contracts handed out by the Galactic Republic. This strategy led to at least one design being fielded by the Grizmallt military.
