Commissioner was the title of the leader of the planet Kynachi.^[1] In 21 BBY,^[2] the Commissioner was Langu Sommilor. After the Galactic Republic Clone trooper group Breakout Squad conducted a mission to his world, Sommilor agreed to meet Supreme Chancellor Palpatine on the Republic capital of Coruscant. Sommilor and his pilots diverted to Vaced to meet up with Breakout Squad. After landing at Vaced Spaceport, Sommilor and the pilots were assassinated by a Mandalorian Death Watch sniper. Some time later, Jedi Padawan Commander Nuru Kungurama discovered that the commissioner and his pilots were still alive and was impersonated by agents of the Black Sun organization.
