Commissioner of the Coruscant Constabulary was the title of the commander of the Coruscant Security Force during the later years of the Galactic Empire's control of Coruscant and after the New Republic captured the planet. Before the Battle of Yavin the CSF had been under the control of a moff. However after the Anti-Sith conspiracy, the moff was replaced by a commissioner. This further reduced the CSF's power on Coruscant as the Coruscant Guard remained firmly in primary control of policing the planet.

After the New Republic captured Coruscant from the Empire in 7 ABY, the New Republic Provisional Council debated offering the position to former Corellian Moff Fliry Vorru.
