Companion Besh

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

The Rishi Maze and Companion Besh orbiting the galaxy, as shown in the Jedi Archives.

Companion Besh was the formal name for one of the seven satellite galaxies orbiting the main galactic disc, the other major satellite being Companion Aurek (also known as the Rishi Maze). Companion Besh was located some 150,000 light-years from the main galaxy. In general it was considered unexplored save for some probots.[1]

Companion Besh held the homeworlds of the Faruun, Maccabree, Nagai and Tof.

It was seen on a stellar map accessed by Obi-Wan Kenobi in 22 BBY at the Jedi Archives.[2]

[edit] Behind the scenes

The second satellite galaxy appears in Attack of the Clones, but was not given a formal name until the publication of The Essential Atlas.
