Cone sock

The Cone sock was a chemical-based garment created by Alyn Rae and his team of scientists. Intended for members of the Gotal species, the device was designed to slip over the aliens' head cones, thus blocking out irritating electromagnetic emissions while allowing other transmissions to pass through. While originally expensive, the garment eventually gained more popularity among lower-income Gotals.
