- "It would have been a cruel revelation for the boys and girls of a century ago to learn that the intrepid Sector Ranger Novan Nune almost certainly never existed — much less followed the colonists kidnapped on Parcovey Minor to the dreaded arenas of Affavan, deep in Hutt Space, fought as a gladiator to win their freedom, and then returned to destroy the Hutt kajidic that had ravaged their world."
- ―Albegron speaking at the Conference
In the year 6 ABY a Conference on Popular Entertainment was held on the planet Obroa-skai. The Academician of Popular Studies Thunys Albegron spoke at the conference concerning the Holodrama True Tales of the Ancient Republic, in particular Episode XXIV: Death on the Rim, which aired in 114 BBY and starred the fictional Sector Ranger Novan Nune as the protagonist. Albegron looked at how the episode was based on a series of real events concerning the Hutt-backed assault on the planet Parcovey Minor and the Belasco Free Volunteers' journey to the planet Affavan shortly afterwards.[1]
