Connus Trell was the senator for the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth during the time of the Battle of Naboo, serving alongside fellow Senator Orn Free Taa.
Trell, a green-skinned male Twi'lek, was implicated in the death stick distribution scheme managed by Groff Haug following the Naboo crisis. Bounty hunter Jango Fett confronted Trell in his Senatorial apartment on Coruscant over his dealings, and the cowardly Senator confessed all. Dangling Trell over the balcony of his apartment suite, Fett learned that the death-sticks had been acquired on Malastare from a Dug crimelord named Sebolto.
Jango Fett's investigations were cut short by the appearance of a VAAT/e police troopship. The police ordered Fett to release Trell. Jango then dropped Trell off of a balcony, and engaged the police ship.
