The Consular-class cruiser (Charger c70 retrofit),[3] also known as the Republic frigate, was a starship developed for the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. It consisted of a converted Consular-class space cruiser adapted for combat, with a new battle-armored hull and laser turrets.[2]
