Plot synopsis
Edit
From TheForce.Net:[1]
- For years, the Sith were thought to be extinct - but on a remote desolate planet, vengeful spirits of chaos have decreed a battle for power, for only through a trial of pain can the hidden Sith masters find one worthy of the title Dark Lord.
- Two brothers, Wroth and Anarcis, have boasted of their ability to pass the trials - but someone else has also answered the challenge…
Characters
Edit
- Darth Maul - The protagonist of the film. The Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious who was tested in abattle aganist various Sith Lords. After he destroys the Sith, his master contacts him through the Force to join him by his side. Portrayed by Edwin Villa and voiced by Lou Klien.
- Lord Terrax: A Sith Lord who was sent by the hidden Brotherhood of Darkness (see Behind the Scenes) to eliminate the renegades, Wroth and Anarcis. However, he had been stabbed by Anarcis, while Wroth cut off his saber hand and stabbed him from behind. His lightsaber became a trophy for the two renegades. Portrayed by Rusty Locke.
- Darth Anarcis: The brother of Wroth who wielded a yellow double-bladed lightsaber. After Wroth was killed, he was stabbed from behind the neck by Darth Maul. Portrayed by André "Chyna" McCoy.
- Darth Wroth: The brother of Anarcis who wielded an orange lightsaber. He received a stab in the waist by Darth Maul and was later beheaded. It is possible that he was a practitioner of Shien. Portrayed by Lou Klein.
Behind the Scenes
Edit
- Darth Wroth's name is a splicing of the words "wrath" and "sloth," two of the Seven Deadly Sins.
- Darth Anarcis's name is likely taken from "anarchy."
- Darth Maul was born in 54 BBY…946 years after the Brotherhood of Darkness was dissolved. Ergo, Lord Terrax probably hails from a different Brotherhood - unless the original survived without the Galactic Republic or the Jedi being aware of it.
