Coonee was a planet located in the Expansion Region. Han, who was in his teens, and Chewbacca traveled to Coonee where they herded coldppedas, fifteen-footed scaled domestic animals, for three years.

Behind the scenesEdit

It was created by George Lucas shortly after the release of A New Hope in 1977 as part of the back-story of Han Solo. Coonee was never incorporated into Han's biography, despite the fact that Lucas developed it for the use of licensees in the Expanded Universe.
