Copperline was a world of poor farmers that had been plagued by pirates for decades. In 18 BBY, the Imperial Navy and Army, including at least one unit of stormtroopers, cleaned out the pirates in a five-month-long operation.

Daric LaRone was born on this world in 28 BBY. His witnessing of the Imperial operation that ended the pirate scourge greatly influenced his desire to join the Stormtrooper Corps when he came of age.
