Sarb originated from the world Deylerax and became an employee of the Galactic Empire. However, he embezzled funds and used them to establish his own criminal empire. He ran a profitable smuggling operation and owned a number of gambling dens on Deylerax. By 7 ABY, the New Republic had placed a bounty of 25,000 credits on Sarb's head.
